If you've seen the past couple of photos that I've shared on dA, you'll know that I recently added a female Shiba Inu to the family. I picked her up at the airport on Friday, June 4th (it's now the 17th) from a breeder in Missouri. The little girl had a six hour flight with a layover in Detroit. Her name is Emi, which means "blessed with beauty" in Japanese. I figured since she's a Japanese breed, she should have a name that has something to do with her heritage. I've been using dA for years to look through various artists' work (whether it be photography, drawings, jewelry or tattoo designs, just about everything). I FINALLY decided that I should start my own. Besides an old Olympus P&S and newer but still old Nikon P&S, I went ahead and got myself a Canon XTi around Christmas time of '08.
